With this in mind, various companies have set out on a mission to make all the regular gym apparatus available for home usage. However, what they quickly discovered is the steep price at which these machines came, not to mention the amount of space they occupied was more than enough to chase most buyers away. However, they didn’t let up and kept working on the concept. As a result, today there is a whole industry out there based solely on workout equipment for home, with a variety of compact, decently-priced and versatile machines to choose from. If you are looking for a single trainer that will allow you to get a complete workout without leaving the house, then I urge you to take a look at the TRX Trainer.

To start things off, here is a little history lesson in regards to the TRX Trainer. It was invented by Randy Hetrick, a Navy SEAL who needed some type of portable workout equipment that was both light, strong and compact at the same time. Eventually, as some time passed, Hetrick finally decided make his invention available to the entire world.
The TRX Trainer basically consists of two suspension cables with grips for hand and feet. The cables can be connected to beams, weight racks, fences, or anything else of the sort. They also have an accessory that allows you to connect the cables to a door, although that can sometimes prove to be a bit unstable.
As you can imagine, one of the obvious benefits offered by the TRX Trainer is the fact that you can actually take it with you anywhere you go, and practically use it anywhere. You can even take with you on a vacation or whenever you go abroad; it’s basically a gym in a bag. The TRX Trainer is extremely easy to use and set up, relying on an extremely simple yet very reliable and durable system.
In my opinion, the greatest benefit that the TRX Trainer offers is the fact that you can perform dozens of different exercises with it. You can even regulate the difficulty of your exercises by simply changing the location of your body in relation to the anchor. All the exercises performed are based around your bodyweight, meaning it will allow you to get a fully body workout in terms of muscle building while providing you with a challenging cardio session at the same time. In other words, the TRX Trainer will allow you to not only get physically stronger, but it will also make you more enduring and allow you to lose weight much faster than most other machines.
There is however one small disadvantage to the TRX Trainer that I feel the need to mention, which is that it doesn’t come exactly cheap, at least relatively to its complexity and that of other machines on the market. You can usually find it floating at a price of approximately $199.99. Keep in mind however that it will allow you to perform a variety of different exercises and not just focus on one part of your body like traditional exercise machines.
All in all, I would like to conclude this TRX Trainer review by saying that if you have the money to spare and are either constantly on the move need to work out in confined spaces then it’s definitely going to suit your needs. It’s light, compact, very durable, usable pretty much anywhere a solid bar can be found, and not to mention that it allows you to perform a large variety of exercise and lose weight faster than pretty much any other machines out there.
