Actual Customer Reviews:
I bought the bowflex extreme 2 SE because I was tired of going to the gym. With my busy lifestyle I can find a lot of reasons why not to get into the truck, drive to the gym, and work out. The work outs at the gym tend to start off really good but become less frequent overtime. Now I find that I am looking forward to working out when I get home after work. Another huge benefit is that I don’t have to find a sitter to look after my young son so I could go out to the gym. I supplement my bowflex workouts with cardio exercise on my staionary bike. I am finding that only a half hour on the bike is plenty of time get my heart rate to a fat/calorie burning level quickly. I do a bowflex workout every 2nd day with the exercise bike on off days. I am trying to keep the bowflex workouts to less than 1/2 hour for now, but that will likely change over time. All in all, I am glad I bought the bowflex and look forward to getting into real good shape over the next little while.
Love this machine! I work out regularly 3 to 4 times a week and I love having a machine at home that I can use at my convenience. It’s smooth motion and low impact on the joints is perfect. It’s great for strength training and toning. I upgraded the weight to 400 lbs which I highly recommend. I’m 43 years old and was looking for a machine that was easy on my joints but still gives a workout that is comparable to free weights, the Bowflex is a perfect match. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase.
After a leg injury a few years ago I bought a bowflex. It has long paid for itself as I use it 3 times a week. One of the 50lb rods broke but Bowflex replaced it without any hassle. After injuring a rotator cuff my physiotherapist designed 8 or 10 exercises for my rehab to be done on the bowflex. It’s a great machine and offers enough exercise variations to alter your routines.
